Elotek utilise a multi Digitalk Platform combined with a fully featured
IVR platform.
The Elotek Virtual Network (VN) provides all the functionality of
a traditional large telecommunications company but with the benefit
of a huge variety of value-added services included within the cost
of the Partition.
With access to the Elotek VN you can provide your customers with
an array of advanced Phonecard services, including charge cards,
bespoke billing and switching services. Under the proposed agreement
Elotek will provide you with a full VN platform and technical help
desk.
Overview Of Calling Card Management
Calling cards can be defined as an anonymous prepaid calling service.
End users must purchase a card before making a call. Prepaid services
are beneficial to the platform operator as all money is received
in advance. Cards can be purchased from a wide variety of vendors
including newsagents, shops, community centres, bars and cafes.
A key feature of the calling card is that the service is entirely
anonymous.
Customers are not required to register with the platform
operator.
Card purchasers are generally validated by a unique PIN code, although
it is possible for a platform operator to offer a CLI recognition
service which could include landlines or mobile phones. (surcharges
may apply on some mobile networks and payphones)
Calling cards are credited with a fixed value. When the credit
has been used up the card will automatically expire.
Cards may
also have
a predefined lifespan. This normally starts after the first use
and will expire after a predefined number of days regardless
of whether
credit remains. This is a common route to increasing operator
margins. Cards may be lost or damaged and if the credit is not utilised,
the card operator benefits.
Calling card services can be configured and administered on our
platform using the "Service" front office application.
Service is a feature rich application, which can be loaded onto a
desktop PC or laptop. Administration using Service is normally carried
out remotely using either a VPN or dial-up connection to access the
platform.
The flexibility of our platform ensures your card can be differentiated
from others by tailoring your service to a particular virtical market
and permitting bespoke tariffs.
Feature Description:
Optional Voice Prompts
Destination, Low Credit, Comfort Tone, Promotional, Credit Remaining,
Time Remaining, Multiple Languages. Specific Languages can be set
for a batch of calling cards or can be saved by the caller for an
individual Calling Card.
Callback
Cards can be configured as a callback service based upon CLI validation
/ CLI Recognition. Card owners can be given the option of saving
their CLI against a card.
Balance on Demand
The balance remaining on a calling card can played in response to
an IVR entry.
Callback Hang-up
Caller can force both ingress and egress legs of a call to be cleared
through an IVR entry.
Call Continuation
Follow on calls can be enabled through IVR Last Number Redial The
caller can be given the facility to re-dial the previous number through
an IVR entry.
Card Chaining
Credit can be removed from one card and placed onto another using
IVR
Speed Dialling
Speed dial numbers can be set for an entire batch of calling cards.
Play Bespoke Voice Files
Pre-recorded voice prompts can be played in response to an IVR entry.
Flexible Tariffing
Calls made using a calling card are rated using 'Real Time Rating
Engine' which exposes the platform operator to zero liability.
