The Elotek Virtual Network (VN) provides all the functionality of a traditional large telecommunications company but with the benefit of a huge variety of value-added services included within the cost of the Partition.

Access to Elotek’s VN software will provide your customers with an array of advanced communications services, including calling cards, charge cards, residential and business account services, pre-paid or post-paid billing, switching services, callback services, NGNs and SIP based VoIP solutions. Under the proposed agreement Elotek will provide you with a full VN platform and access to our technical help desk.

Service Description

Pre-paid or post-paid residential accounts for private individuals or pre-paid or post-paid business accounts. InDirect Access Account based services enabling 1xxx. VOIP Call Shop Accounts suitable for use with a call-shop, SMS Callback applications based on CLI, DDI or PIN.

Pre-paid or post-paid billed number translation service. Billed Leased Line Wholesale carrier account. Premium Rate Dialing services.

Overview Of Account Based Services

An account-based service is one that requires a subscriber to be identified by the platform. Unlike the anonymity of calling cards, customers register their personal details and can be reconciled with their call history. A simple definition of an account is a ‘billable entity’ that has Call Data Records (CDRs) stored against them. It is therefore possible to have postpaid accounts in addition to prepaid accounts as the CDRs can be reconciled against an individual and billed at a later date.
Subscribers can be recognised (validated) either by a PIN number or by CLI. Certain products such as Callback Accounts and 1xxx Accounts must have CLI validation.
