Sipping a drink in the garden while checking emails or sitting
in a café, at your Campsite or simply from one office to
another, all are possible with wireless computing technology.
Wireless computing lets you browse the internet, send emails without
having any leads connected to your laptop, PDA or mobile. You can
even use it to send a document to a printer without the hassle of
physically linking it but, this use is less common. Known as WiFi
for short, it is a way for computers to send and receive information
without wires.
The range of WiFi is from about 100 metes up to a 6 kilometers,
so you can only access the Internet wirelessly if you are near a
wireless 'hotspot'. You can find these hotspots in offices, airports,
and even café's, pubs and train stations even whole communities,
or you can set up a hotspot in your own home. That is what we are
supplying these hotspots to companies and privet individuals who
want to join the WiFi revolution.
